For schools and groups a number of options are available but normally fall within single-day ‘Themed Experiences’ or recurring sessions over a period of time - ‘Progressive Learning’

Give the children an experience to remember
Whether you are teaching about the stone age, diving into historical heritage, mapping in geography or simply trying to add excitement to core subjects there is a huge range of options to choose from.
We will work with you every step of the way while we plan an incredible day for the children. Having a background not only in education but also in weaving outdoor skills through curriculum learning, we will help you find an experience with us that develops the children in whatever way suits them.

Although we can offer to host the day, with the huge cost of travel we often find that schools prefer for us to bring the experience to them - this could be the school grounds or local places within walking distance. If you are unsure where, we may be able to support you finding a local venue.

With our school visits having so many bespoke factors it isn’t possible to give exact prices until we know certain information. Once we have been in touch to discuss your session we can then give you a quote which won’t be final until you have given us confirmation.
Costs for a Themed Experience Day are typically between £300-£600 but can sometimes be more depending on the number of participants or if particularly resource heavy learning areas are required.

Using the outdoors to promote positive learning
The outdoors provides a wealth of opportunities for growth. We spent the last few hundred thousand years learning outside yet we are often surprised when children find it hard to concentrate inside a classroom. The problem we often face now is fitting in required learning in a timely way.
Giving the children time, space and freedom to process learning differently is hugely beneficial to their development. We can help to instil this as a reality in more regular sessions using outdoor learning as a vehicle for curricular learning. They will have opportunities to learn in ways which challenge their mindset, collaboration skills and grit while also finding time to be calm and connected to the real world around them.
The learning objectives will come from you and we will work closely together to find ways to achieve them using practical outdoor skills and knowledge. A range of age-appropriate learning is available from EYFS to KS2.

This very much depends on your requirements. Some schools may do sessions throughout an entire academic year but some may just want a few in a row for a particular sequence of learning.
